Work on an important link for the cities of Atlanta, Georgia and Memphis, Tennessee is going ahead following a decision by the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The Georgia Department of Transportation now has the green light to construct the link between US 411 and the Atlanta-to-Memphis highway. The move follows an extensive environmental approvals process and required for federally funded road projects.
