Efficient quarry production

Ma-estro's new prototype Q-Automation system is said to include a better movement sensor for more efficient quarry production and aggregates recycling plants. The Q-Automation system, said Maestro senior technician Riccardo De Agostini, is unlike any system previously applied in quarries and with aggregate recycling plants. It recognises different sizes of material and can inform quarry managers immediately if a screen breaks down. "If you have oversized material, with Q-Automation you can stop production immediately rather than have a lot of material through before knowing something is wrong. It's a prototype at present and we still have to discover all its applications. The next step for the system is for it to distinguish between cleaner and dirty material."
