Management of water and water resources is a major problem which is central to thinking and major efforts being made at the international level. France Gabion has been engaged in this battle for many years now, developing and recommending appropriate solutions to various hydraulic engineering problems encountered. Prevention and development in the hydraulic engineering area form part of the company's expertise, with a keen concern for integration of structures into their environment. Developments in the mountains, coastline developments and protection of discharge channels, bank protection, water management in rural areas, and management of irrigation and water resources in Africa are just a few examples of hydraulic developments described in this article.
