"Over the years working as a product design engineer I have become more concerned with the provenance of products and business models that create manufacturing in the UK. I believe that our communities benefit from having manufacturing at their core. Industry gives communities an identity, pride and a reason to believe. Working with this philosophy, and focusing on the town where I live, I set out to investigate how I could 'put the wool back into Buckfastleigh.' Buckfastleigh is an ancient woollen town on the southern edge of Dartmoor, Devon.
