Harris Tweed teacups by Emma Dolan

Having holidayed on the Isle of Harris, in the Outer Hebrides, for ten summers in a row, textile artist Emma Dolan learnt a lot about the fabric, the process and the story of tweed. Training originally in surface pattern design in the mid-1980s, it was several years after leaving art school that Emma came across a course at Leeds Collage of Art in surface pattern design.
