The first dedicated yarn dyeing plant to be installed in the UK for over 20 years is now fully operational at Park Valley Dyers, in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The plant features a complete Thies dyeing installation including ten dyeing machines and a horizontal pressure dryer. The German dyeing company also designed the layout and specifications for all ancillary equipment. Located in Lockwood, Huddersfield, the ￡2 million plant has reached an output of 25 tonnes of dyed yarn a week, with virtually zero waste.
