With the iPhone 5S' new fingerprint-sensing home button, Apple has clearly set out to own more of the enterprise space. And while the biometrics indeed ad more security to the company's iconic device, Apple's updated operating system, iOS 7, also upped its appeal for IT administrators with a number of new features. In honor of Apple's release of iOS 7 last month, Fiberlink has compiled a list of what it thinks are the top seven features in the new operating system for business. They are as follows: 1. MDM Support. iOS 7 will make it easier for IT managers to implement MDM on devices through managed apps, whitelisting, and more. Corporate-owned devices can also be automatically enrolled in MDM during activation. This increased functionality will make it easier for IT to secure and manage devices. 2. Enhanced Containerization. "Open In" management will help to protect corporate data by separating it from personal, making sure that only specified apps are able to open corporate content and keeping personal documents out of the picture.
