Wilocity demonstrates 60GHz multi-Gigabit wireless chipset for data communications at the 2011 CES

Wilocity, a developer of 60GHz multi-Gigabit wireless chipsets for the mobile computing, consumer electronics, and peripheral markets, demonstrated its 60GHz multi-Gigabit wireless chipset at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show. Wilocity's multi-Gigabit tri-band wireless computing and networking solution was recognized as a 2011 CES Innovations Honoree for Enabling Technologies. This solution enables tri-band networking and peripheral connectivity at speeds up to 5Gbps, more than 10 times faster than today's Wi-Fi. The demonstration at CES is the first 60GHz wireless solution for data communication.
