Wavion and Bit Telecom to provide Internet access to rural towns in Romania

Wavion, a provider of metro and rural Wi-Fi with a new generation of Wi-Fi base stations, and Bit Telecom, a system integrator in Roma-rnnia, announced the deployment of Wavion's Wi-Fi solution for town-wide Internet access in several towns in Romania.rnThe deployment is based on Wavion's WBS-2400 base stations, working in the 2.4GHz unlicensed band. The networks are deployed in the rural towns of Gura Humorului, Vatra Dornei, Berchisesti, Cirlibaba, Roznov, Voitinel, Varna, Manastirea Casinului, Sita Buzaului, Costesti, Puiesti, and Hunedoara.
