St. Patrick's College implements a 1:1 initia- tive supported by Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays

Xirrus announced the deployment of its high-performance Wi-Fi Arrays at St. Patrick's College in Shorncliffe, Queensland, Australia. The school is a historic site as the central building on campus was constructed in 1864 as home for one of Queensland's first Parliamentarians. Schooling commenced on this site in 1952 and it has since grown to accommodate 1,200 students and 150 staff members. St. Patrick's College grew and flourished amidst the surge of new educational technology, recently implementing a 1:1 netbook initiative and upgrading their network infrastructure to provide the mobility and reliability necessary for such an undertaking.
