Transit Wireless Selects RFS to Support Wireless Services for New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) Riders

Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist, announced that Transit Wireless has selected RFS products to support the architecture of its distributed antenna system (DAS) for the New York City subway system. RFS products that will be used in the project include HYBRIFLEX conduit cable, transmission line cabling with low smoke, and zero-halogen jackets and jumpers. Upon its completion, the Transit Wireless network will become a shared wireless infrastructure enabling commercial wireless services for more than 1.6 billion New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) riders annually.
