Alvarion and BHU Selected by Tier 1 Mobile Carrier to Deliver Wi-Fi Connectivity to Rural China

Alvarion Ltd., a provider of optimized wireless broadband solutions addressing the connectivity, coverage and capacity challenges of public and private networks, and BHU, the exclusive distributor of Alvarion (Wavion) products in China since 2009, announced that a Tier 1 Mobile Carrier has deployed Alvarion's carrier-grade Wi-Fi base stations for high speed Wi-Fi Internet access bridging the digital divide in the Liaoning province in rural China.This project is one of many Tier 1 Carrier projects spearheaded by BHU throughout different provinces around China using Alvarion (Wavion) carrier-grade Wi-Fi solutions, with more expected in the future as broadband usage grows in China and Wi-Fi deployments expand.
