Kathrein Digital Systems, a specialist in digital reception of satellite, terrestrial, cable or IP service and signal distribution in buildings and caravans, is introducing the Car 150 WiFi Duo system to supply caravans with highspeed internet. The internet connection is first established using the antenna, consisting of two LTE, one GPS and two WLAN receiver modules. The antenna supports a Wi-Fi hotspot for travelers. The router is equipped with two SIM card slots, so that users can choose between two available LTE networks at any time. This improves stability and enables seamless internet reception. SIM cards can also be changed directly in the router, for example when crossing national borders. The system helps to set up a private hotspot regardless of location, LTE or WLAN signal source. This means that all end-devices, such as smartphones, tablets or laptops, no longer have to log in with new passwords at each new location.
