HGC launches 'Line for Four' 2.2G broadband, 'Wi-Fi 360' services

Fixed-line operator HGC Global Communications (HGC) has launched two services dubbed 'Line for Four' and 'Wi-Fi 360'. The 'Line for Four' 2.2G fiber broadband service mainly targets families, while the 'Wi-Fi 360'service provides 24 hours' wireless internet connection both inside and outside the house. The 2.2G fiber broadband service is delivered using 1 multi-port modem which supports 4 sets of independent IP connections to segregate different internet applications. It provides fiber-optic broadband service of up to 2.2G download speed. The monthly fee for the Line for Four 2.2G fiber broadband services plus myTV Super is HKD 218. Customers who sign up to the service during the promotional period will receive free service for the first 6 months following activation. The 'Wi-Fi 360' service is designed to provide HGC Broadband customers with 24 hours' wireless internet connection inside and outside the house. Leveraging mesh Wi-Fi and multiple wireless routers set up in the house, this service will cover different corners of the house with internet connection. In addition, HGC Broadband 'Wi-Fi 360' service subscribers will also be able to have wireless connection using the company's 29,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in Hong Kong. The 'Wi-Fi 360' service is available for a monthly fee of HKD 58.
