Tizeti partners MainOne to expand highspeed Wi-Fi to Ghana

This will be Tizeti's first expansion outside Nigeria. Tizeti will operate solar-powered Wi-Fi towers across Ghana, utilizing the same technology as it uses in Nigeria, where Tizeti partners with MainOne and Facebook, covering over 90 percent of Lagos. Tizeti has installed over 17,000 public Wi-Fi hotspots in Nigeria with over 1 million unique users. There are hundreds of internet access points in Lagos, Ogun and Port Harcourt. Using solar-powered base stations will reduce Tizeti's operating costs, which will provide competitive subscription packages for Ghanaian costumers and businesses.
