PLDT to deploy free Smart WiFi connections across Manila city

Philippines operator PLDT, via its mobile unit Smart Communications, has signed an agreement with the Manila local government to provide free Smart WiFi connections across the city, particularly government offices, hospitals, universities and other key areas. Areas to be covered include Manila City Hall, Ospital ng Maynila, Tondo Medical Center, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Universidad de Manila and Museo Pambata. Other proposed areas include Ospital ng Maynila, Tondo Medical Center, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Universidad de Manila and Museo Pambata.
