14.5 to 16 GHz GaAs MMIC High Power Amplifier Delivers 5 W Output Power

Mimix Broadband's four stage 14.5 to 16.0 GHz GaAs MMIC power amplifer has a small gain of 27.0 dB with +37.0 dBm saturated output power. This high power amplifier, identified as XP1058-BD, uses a dual-sided bias architecture and achieves 444 dBm OIP3. The MMIC uses the company's GaAs PHEMT device model technology and is based upon optical lithography to ensure high repeatability and uniformity. The device is well suited for millimeter-wave military, radar, satellite, microwave point-to-point radio, VSAT and weather applications.
