Created to increase open-top coin-cell battery holders with a snap-on cover piece, the Snap Dragon family of coin-cell battery holders from MPD accepts CR2032 batteries in both through-hole and SMT versions. The devices have dual pressure contacts made of nickel-plated phosphor bronze and with a gold flash overall. The lightweight LCP base piece of the holder is capable of withstanding up to 280℃ for reflow solder process compatibility.
