Wind work around the U.S.

The U.S. is rapidly shifting toward renewable energy as the cost of power from large-scale wind projects drops. Still, wind-turbine construction in 2013 will likely be slower than in the preceding year. The apparent slow-down may be a little misleading, however. A record-breaking development push in 2012 was inspired by uncertainty over tax credits. The future holds further growth, according to the American Wind Energy Association, which is predicting an upswing as the industry rolls into 2014.
