Remote control and supervision for the Horns Rev offshore windfarm by the VestasOnline~(TM) Professional System

With the experience of Horns Rev, Vestas will deliver VestasOnline~(TM) Professional for the UK offshore windfarms North Hoyle and Scroby Sands, as well as for onshore farms in Tasmania (Australia) and Crete (Greece). The Vestas policy is to innovate and cooperate in establishing open and efficient standards for remote control systems in the wind power industry. Vestas is a member of the OPC Foundation and an active participant in the IEC working group for the standardisation of communication interfaces for wind power plant remote control systems (IEC 61400-25).
