Plastic pipes push the green agenda

As global warming continues to have a significant effect on our climate and catastrophic weather events devastate local communities, the water and construction industries are being forced to look towards more innovative solutions that play a part in reducing carbon footprints. Matthew Cowle, PHD student at the Hydro-environmental Research Centre of Cardiff University School of Engineering, evaluates the environmental impacts of two of the most widely implemented products in the water management industry using the results of his study into the two materials.
