摘要

The utilities sector is expected to take a lead in piloting a new procurement arrangement that will help drive and encourage training within contractors as well as raise competency standards, EU Skills chief executive Neil Robertson has revealed. Speaking at our Water Industry Supplier Conference in Birmingham on November 26, Robertson said he expects the water sector to be prominent in the piloting of the scheme. Unable to say too much about the pilot, Robertson said the scheme would "be stick and carrot".
