A solution: Synthetic media can make the difference

Due to its innovative design the Sulphus can treat H_2S and other (in) organic odours in one single reactor. The Sulphus reactor is fabricated in a GRP vessel and factory assembled for fast and easy installation. The winded plastic packing media (Odour-Pack) inside the vessel serves as the support material for the development of the biofilm. The OdourPack has a specific surface area greater than 400m2/m3, and a porosity above 92%. The system is completed by a water control cabinet interfaced with a PLC control housed in the same cabinet, with a water flow meter and automatic valves allowing discontinuous spraying of water (usually final effluent) over the surface of the OdourPack to provide the necessary nutrients and humidity to keep adequate conditions in the biofilm.
