For thenfirst nine months of 2012, Coke reported a 3% increase in net salesnand a 3.3% increase in net profits. Over the same period, PepsiConreported a 1.7% decline in net sales and a 10% decline in net profits.nDespite the contrasting top-line figures, there were positives andnnegatives arising from both sets of results, and there was no signnthat these latest results would have a similarly contrasting impactnon the two firm's share prices.
