Laser Precision, a job shop in Munde-lain, Ill., northwest of Chicago, has set tough standards for itself. Each day, the company strives to live up to its company slogan, "Laser Precision ... a cut above the rest!" So far its efforts have produced rapid growth and the opportunity to provide more types of services for its customers. The root cause of the company's success, according to Sales Manager Di-ether Remeikis, is the laser technology with which the company started in 1994. Having just purchased its third laser, the company continues to perform its laser job shops producing precision- cut parts in increasingly larger lot runs for automotive, medical equipment, agricultural and construction equipment, electrical component and special machine market original equipment manufacturers, as well as display/exhibit builders, steel service centers, custom fabricators and other job shops (see lead photo).
