Dear Members, I am pleased to report that there has been a lot of activity since our International Conference in Irving, Texas last May which included the presentation and release of the 2018 Society of Allied Weight Engineers (SAWE) comprehensive survey regarding the health of mass properties engineering (MPE) within the aerospace, marine, off shore, land vehicle and allied industries. One of the take-aways from the conference is we need to arm SAWE members with material they can use to secure support to mass properties and SAWE participation. So here are some highlights along those lines, some of which has been posted on our SAWE blog:
