Hampton Roads Chapter

The Chapter has had a very active beginning to 2009. On January 15, our first Chapter Meeting of 2009 was held at McFadden's Restaurant in Hampton. Approximately 12 members attended the lunchtime meeting. Following lunch, our Chapter President, John Capin, presided over the technical part of the meeting, an open forum discussion on the current and future state of weight engineering. At our February meeting, Bill Boze presented a very interesting new concept in predicting weights using the statistical analysis tool, Monte Carlo simulation. Chapter Member Bonnie Stratton from the Elizabeth City United States Coast Guard Air Station spoke at our March meeting. Her presentation was titled: "Importance of a Weight and Balance Maintenance Program."
