WEIGHT AND CENTER OF GRAVITY MEASUREMENT OF SMALL AND VERY SMALL PAYLOADS

Space Electronics developed two instruments dedicated to measuring mass and center of gravity of very small payloads. The SE199 'Micro' is our smallest instrument for Weight and CG measurement. It is dedicated to payloads weighing less than 100 grams. Typical applications include hard drive heads, medical pills, and electronic components. The SE199 achieves an accuracy of about ± 50 μm (± 0.002 inches) on center of gravity.
