Miguel leads a team of 25 engineers to develop and deploy weight estimation capabilities in the Mass Properties Domain for Airbus-Spain. He is currently serving as President of the Central European (CE) Chapter, and as such has already held planning meetings for the 2012 conference to be held in Germany. He was the Conference Chair for the 2002 European Regional Conference in Madrid, Spain, where over 100 mass properties engineers attended. Miguel also co-chaired the committee to host the 67th International Conference in Madrid. He led a small but able crew from the Madrid area that were responsible for registration, vendor coordination, training, and all the remaining "chores" of being a host committee. This was a nearly flawless conference that definitely had a European flair and the Spanish touch to make it one of the memorable and profitable events of SAWE. The success of the Madrid conference is directly responsible for our return to Europe in 2012.
