Bill has worked in mass properties for over 40 years. He has spent much of his career working in the satellite industry, but has also worked in the aircraft and shipbuilding industries. He worked for many years at Hughes Space and Communications Group which later became Boeing. While at Hughes, he consistently took on increased responsibilities, eventually holding the positions of Project Manager and Department Manager, managing as many as 55 mass properties engineers and mechanical systems engineers. Bill "retired" to Seattle three years ago, where he now works for The Aerospace Corporation. Bill has been an active SAWE member for 37 years, mostly with the Los Angeles Chapter where he held multiple chapter offices. At the International level, he has served on the Technical Committee and on the Government/Industry Committee where he was especially active in coordinating ISO/AIAA Standards. He was the local vendor coordinator for the 67th International Conference in Seattle. He has served as the Deputy Vice President - Vendor Relations for the past two years and is currently the Vice President - Vendor Relations.
