Ed Payne Outstanding Young Engineer Richard Preciado

Richard has been an active member of the SAWE for seven years. He has served as a chapter officer, has planned chapter events, and had provided key support to the chapter President. He is an enthusiastic supporter of future engineers, which he has demonstrated by volunteering at events such as "Salute to Youth", an Aerospace Career Fair aimed at high school students. He also volunteered as an Engineer's Week Elementary School Presenter/Spokesman. He has been active in other technical societies, including the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, serving as Vice-President, Treasurer, and Science Day Coordinator. His attitude is one of continual learning and it has served him very well.
