After 43 years, Roger Clapp has decided to retire from the aerospace industry. Roger's career spanned several employers globally and he chose to wind up a successful career in Canada. Roger is not only a lifetime member and a fellow of the SAWE, he is also one of the founding members of the Canada Chapter. So it is fitting that we take this opportunity to thank him for his contribution and wish him a fulfilling and happy retirement. For months the Canada Chapter has been busy organizing our fall conference. The purpose of our conference is to assist our members in developing new ideas and sharing technical information that is not readily available anywhere else. It gives us the opportunity to ask questions and get answers or feedback from an experienced group of people. This forum also provides an opportunity to meet our customers to share and discuss common problems that we face in our respective industries.
