Monday Plenary Session

Following the lunch break, the Plenary Session was held. Mr. William “Bill” Boze, from Huntington Ingalls Industriesrn– Newport News Shipbuilding, was first up with his presentation on A Recommended Weight Margin forrnWet Undersea Vehicles. He started out by explaining the definition of a “wet” undersea vehicle, and then outlinedrnthe challenges of maintaining both stability and the required buoyancy of such a vehicle during its design and overrnits life cycle.
