Um die Ursachen von Störungen ermitteln zu können, bedarf es analytischer Verfahren, die schnell und sicher hierzu eine Information geben. Im chemischen Labor der Papierfabrik kommen verschiedene Methoden (photometrische, gravimetrische, instrumentelle und biologische Verfahren) zur Störstoffbestirnmung zur Anwendung, die im folgenden vorgestellt werden. Die analytischen Methoden werden in verschiedenen Bereichen der Produktion eingesetzt. Zunächst wird bei der Rohstoffprüfung die potentielle Belastung von Faserrohstoffen und chemischen Hilfsstoffen untersucht. Im Bereich Ab- und Prozeßwasser werden nebem Laborverfahren auch Online-Verfahren angewendet.
