Koch membrane systems provides seawater RO for Chilean mine

Koch Membrane Systems, Inc. (KMS) has been selected to provide a seawater reverse osmosis (RO) system for Minera Esperanza's copper-gold mine at Michilla Port, Chile. The system is the first full scale large diameter membrane reverse osmosis (RO) system for seawater that KMS has developed. The system uses KMS' MegaMagnum high capacity seawater membranes, made from a thin film composite developed for seawater applications.
