How has TCS done in the telecom space during FY 2010-11? We have had an exceptional year of financial performance and TCS is now valued amongst the top IT services companies globally with a market value of approximately $50 bn. TCS' revenue was approximately $8.2 bn, of which the telecom division contributed $986 mn in FY 2010-11. We have performed well in the telecom vertical and are supporting CSPs and EVs globally. TCS is among Top 10 service providers in telecom worldwide. We serve 5 out of the top 10 communication service providers worldwide and 7 out of the 10 global that are existing TCS customers in the EV space. TCS won a multi-year contract from a Europe based global mobile service provider for solutions that increase agility and responsiveness to customers. It was also selected by a large integrated telecom service provider in the middle-east as its long term managed services provider for IT operations including IT infrastructure and application areas.
