Broadcom Launches 5th Generation Wi-Fi Chips in India

Broadcom has launched a family of IEEE 802.11ac chips based on 5th generation of Wi-Fi, which will address the needs for a more robust and efficient wireless network currently in demand in enterprise, wireless cloud networks, and carrier access. The company also introduced a new 1Ghz 3G baseband and reference design for smartphones in India, which include baseband, RF, and InConcert connectivity suit enabling Wi-Fi direct, bluetooth low energy, advanced navigation, and NFC.
