ZTE Soft Aims $160 MN Revenue from India by FY14

ZTE Soft, the software services arm of Chinese telecom gear maker ZTE, is aiming $160 mn revenues from the Indian market by the end of fiscal 2014. Considering India as a very fast developed market, with potential consolidations in the telecom sector, the company believes the total number of operators in India to come down to 10 from 12, thus creating lots of opportunity for players like ZTE Soft. At present, the company has 100 employees in India. The company has also partnered with Indian IT companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and TCS for system integration.
