HCM City The Collective Economy Integrates

Apart from the state economy, the collective economy also plays a crucial role in the national economy. At present, Ho Chi Minh City has six cooperative alliances, 458 cooperatives and 2,761 grassroots units with more than 160,000 members. The ratio of good cooperative members jumped from 40 per cent in 2000 to 70 per cent now. Debts given to cooperatives have been settled.
