摘要

History is a vital part of any Community as it represents humanity's wealth. Further it provides assistance in ap-prehending each cultures ancestor. Cyprus is known for the many passing of different cultures. Consequent-ly, with the use of digital technology preserving, recon-structing and analyzing Sites has become possible. With the use of images, it has been made possible to under-stand, visualize, perceive and preservethe cultural herit-age. The goal of the research was to develop a Workflow and concept for 3D Modeling for 3D digital documentation of cultural heritage Sites using terrestrial photogrammetry. Many requirements for the application of this technique have been examined and the ability to create a quality product with cheap, easy, fast and good meth-odology paved the way for the use of this technique. Based on this technique, the applicability of the 3D Image Vector tool when compared to the usage of the clas-sical digital camera System while documenting and modeling cultural heritage in 3D format has been discovered. The data was composed of very high-quality accuracy images (mm range) with 80% image overlapping. The data processing part has been completed by the photo-grammetric Software package called Agisoft Metashape Pro. All settings were monitored in detail while 3D mod-el was created and applied to the final stage of processing. A total of 4 different modeis were obtained and the answers for the research questions were found. These models were compared under the same conditions and Agisoft reports were examined in detail. The differences between the models were determined with C2M distance technique in CloudCompare. As a result, Kyrenia Gate's 3D digital cultural heritage model was obtained, and the received data analysis has shown the technique was efficient for 3D digital documentation. 3D representation of Kyrenia Gate was obtained in PDF format.
