NER lashes out at new Electricity Regulation Bill

During his opening keynote speech at the 59th Convention of the Association of Municipal Electricity Undertakings of Southern Africa (AMEU) in Polokwane on 25 September 2005, Smunda Mokoena, CEO of the National Electricity Regulator (NER), urged electricity distribution industry (EDI) stakeholders in South Africa to "mobilise all available resources in opposition to the new Electricity Regulation Bill in its current form."
