Pharis changes tack at Pilot field in North Sea

UK junior Pharis Energy has changed tack at its UK North Sea heavy-oil Pilot scheme, ditching previous proposals to use steam flood recovery techniques in favour of what it reckons will be a more profitable development plan using polymer injection technology- The company has already made progress on its new plans, submitting a concept development report last month to the Oil & Gas Authority (OG A), chief executive Steve Brown told Upstream.
