China targets hydrogen in green fuel evolution

CHINA has rolled out its road map on hydrogen energy development as the country sets its sights on a system dominated by renewable and low-carbon energy sources. Factors such as high costs and a reliance on foreign technology are, however, likely to weigh on the country's pursuit of hydrogen production. The Beijing administration considers hydrogen as an integral part of its long-hejd target of a clean and renewable energy system.
