ABU Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has pushed back the price bid submission at least until the third quarter of this year for four key contracts involving its $20 billion Hail & Ghasha offshore sour gas development, as the state giant embarks on a review process aimed at lowering costs. Commercial bids for the four Hail & Ghasha packages were earlier expected to be submitted by the end of May, but Adnoc recently told bidders the new deadline would be 31 July, two persons with direct knowledge of the tender process told Upstream.
