MOZAMBIQUE is nearly halfway through a journey to become one of the world's top liquefied natural gas suppliers, with a capacity approaching 90 million tonnes per annum. "Mozambique is 10 years into a 22 to 23-year journey that will take it through to the building up of multiple trains - probably (with a capacity of) about 90 million tpa," said Paul Eardley-Taylor, who heads Standard Bank's oil and gas business in southern Africa.
