GHANA National Gas Company (GNGC) chief executive Ben Asante has called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to provide clarity on title for the country's natural gas resources. "We need to know whether it is the GNGC or the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) which holds custody of Ghana's gas resources," said Asante. Meanwhile, a member of the Parliamentary Mines & Energy Committee said the failure of the GNGC to honour its debts to the GNPC, despite receiving revenues from the sale of gas, was "a matter of great concern".
