LONDON-LISTED player i3 Energy is aiming for first oil from its Liberator field in the UK North Sea in the middle of next year as it signed a deal to take a semi-submersible for a multi-well drilling pro gramme beginning this sum mer, writes Eoin O'Cinneide. The UK operator will drill three back-to-back wells with either the Borgland Dolphin or Blackford Dolphin following a letter of intent signed late last week with Oslo-listed rig owner Dolphin Drilling.
