In the past few years, ISRAEL has continued to establish itself in the global economy by making strides in the telecom industry. But venture capital investment in Israeli startups comes primarily from the United States. In the first quarter of 2000, 60 percent of overall venture capital came from the United States. And, as more and more Israeli startups find new U.S. roots, Israeli entrepreneurs must confront the flow of American investment and direction.
