In Defense of Microsoft

At this point, even Microsoft executives have to acknowledge that they really blew the defense against the Department of Justice's charges in the courtroom of Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson. Even so, they are still confident that the decision will be reversed on appeal. They are, in fact, correct. At least part of Judge Jackson's rulings are bound to be overturned, certainly the order to split the company.
