Hunting Pipeline Services has introduced a new polyurea spray lining system for the in situ rehabilitation and repair of deteriorating sanitary sewer and storm water pipelines. Known as PolySpray, the technology is a 100-percent solids material designed for high-build, fast-cure applications of internal pipe linings where structural performance is required, said John A. Charest, Hunting vice president and general manager. The PolySpray process involves the remotely-controlled spray application of a resin to the interior of small diameter pipes six inches and larger. The product can be designed as a liner or as a repair for partially deteriorated pipe or as a replacement for a fully deteriorated pipe.
